The slabs are taken one by one by a robot, placed on a side-shifter and then slide inside the darkroom. Here, an ultra-high definition capture system tunes to the slab’s colour scale and takes an extremely detailed and realistic photo.
Together with the images, the physical analysis of the slab takes place. Our experts fill out a report for each slab, reporting any irregularity such as resinated veins, vents, etc. The report is concluded by additional information provided automatically by the HD photo-scanner, such as full slab sizes, commercial sizes, maximum obtainable rectangle of the slab and its weight.
The advanced HD Photo-Scanner system allows us to provide our customers with a reliable photograph of the slab, in high definition with real colours, and an extremely detailed report through which we guarantee its specific characteristics. The customer can choose the materials in total safety, without personally coming to Verona.
The scans of the slabs are useful not only in the proposal phase, to create renderings as realistic as possible with the selected material but also after the purchase, as a base for studying the cutting scheme without having to measure and photograph the slabs again.
