The best Brazilian natural stones

What are the best Brazilian natural stones?
Exotic and mysterious, Brazil is the country of origin of the most valuable natural stone in our showroom, Sodalite Blue. But there are also many other remarkable natural stones that come from this fascinating country to decorate our homes and premises. In fact, Brazilian marble has a prominent presence on the international scene thanks to its exceptional quality and the great variety of colours and veins it offers.
Let’s take a look together at a selection of the most beautiful Brazilian stones that are also available in our showroom!

Sodalite Blue

Precious and breathtaking, Brazilian Sodalite Blue is characterized by an intense, homogeneous blue surface with rare white veins. The blocks available are very few and rare, but at Marmo Elite we have privileged access to the only quarry from which they are extracted. Because of its particular beauty, it is the material of choice for the most exclusive and prestigious projects.

Azul Bahia

Azul Bahia granite, also known as Blue Bahia or Brazilian Blue, has a navy blue background decorated with whitish, light blue and black crystals. Its exotic appearance makes it the perfect material to successfully enhance original projects. Its qualities can be fully appreciated when used for interior flooring, bathroom and kitchen cladding, but it can also be used outdoors, for example in swimming pools and spas.

Azul Macaubas

Azul Macaubas is an exclusive and fascinating quartzite, with an uneven colour, evenly shaded in various shades of blue and azure, with a few gold or beige veins or a tendency towards purple. Its great durability and resistance make it ideal for use both indoors and outdoors: from floors to stairs, from tables to sinks, from kitchen worktops to shower trays, and even for decorations and cladding.

Emerald Quartzite

Emerald Quartzite is durable and lustrous. It has a soft green cloudy structure with white and brown veins. Primarily used to decorate large interior spaces – especially kitchen worktops as it is highly acid resistant – this natural stone can also be safely used outdoors.

Patagonia

Patagonia is a rare, scenic quartzite characterized by an extraordinary mix of shapes and colours: white, black, beige and brown alternating with translucent grey quartz and golden veins.
Its unique appearance makes it suitable for sophisticated interiors; its hardness and resistance make it ideal for kitchen tops, tables, coffee tables and bathrooms.
Patagonia quartzite is also ideal for backlighting: the translucency of the quartz creates a sensational partial lighting effect.

Patagonia Green

Patagonia Green is a variant of Patagonia, a deep green quartzite that is characterized by pure white veins of crystal that alternate with delicate shades of black, beige and golden brown. It is ideal for decorating interiors, especially in design projects where striking geometric compositions are the dominant element.

Da Vinci Quartzite

Da Vinci Quartzite is distinguished by its veined structure, which makes it look elegant, distinctive and luxurious. Characterized by an intense emerald green base, this quartzite can enhance both interiors, such as living rooms and bathrooms, and exteriors environments.

Taj Mahal

Taj Mahal is a pure wonder of nature, a quartzite stone dominated by a light shade that fades to a cream or light beige colour. Its surface is marked by dark, wavy veins – usually between amber and grey, almost metallic – which give it a precious appearance.
Its texture is luminous and slightly transparent, but it is also extremely resistant to biomechanical agents: a fact that sets it apart from marble. One of its main characteristics is the fact that it absorbs stains, which makes it the perfect material to add a touch of elegance to even the most difficult of spaces to keep clean and in good condition.
Its ideal use is reserved for interiors. It can be used for wall and floor coverings, and for the design of kitchens and bathrooms.

Amazzonite

Amazzonite is a beautiful granite with an exceptionally vivid turquoise colour, rich in light and dark shades that enchant the eye. The vibrancy of its background is further enhanced by an intricate pattern of veins that range from grey to brown and powdery pink.
Amazzonite is often chosen to embellish interior projects made up of furnishing accessories such as tables, bathroom furniture and kitchen worktops; its dense and compact surface also makes it suitable for floor and wall coverings.
